AML Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • The primary responsibility will be supporting the AML Team with the day to day AML requirements relating to prepaid card programmes.
  • Generate reporting and undertake in-depth transactional and behavioural reviews on customers and programmes for PFS.
  • Respond to Police and Regulatory third party information requests including Police requests and productions orders
  • Respond to corresponding banking queries relating to AML/CTF queries
  • Monitoring transactions and payments across all PFS programmes and card holders including SEPA, Faster payments, cash/voucher loading and ATM spend.
  • Submitting SAR’s to the relevant authorities on behalf of PFS.
  • Make informed and Prompt decisions on customer behaviour and transactional assessments to mitigate potential risk to PFS.
  • Ensuring the AML inbox is managed and all AML queries are actioned within the agreed SLA.
  • Review SOF/SOW documents received from customers.

Essential skills:

Duties / Key Responsibilities - Required:

  • Advanced skills/knowledge in O365 \ Azure Security Controls, Policies and Alert Management
  • Manage on-going PCI DSS certification, vulnerability resolution, evidence compliance
  • Responsible for both the internal and external Vulnerability Scanning programme
  • Technical lead of Forensic security related incidents/investigations

Support:

  • Assist and help co-ordinate both Internal and External audit activities / IT Security Questionnaires and support of Bids/RFI’s/Tenders/Due Diligence.
  • Update and maintain Application Logical Access Reviews for identified PFS applications in an auditable and timely manner following existing procedures
  • On-going support of the IT Security Staff Education/Training Awareness Programme
  • Support the development, revision and implementation of IT governance policies, procedures, standards and controls and ensure that these are fully embedded in the activities of all IT teams and associated IT suppliers.
  • Recognise any gaps in the effectiveness of the implemented IT controls and identify and act upon opportunities for enhancements.
  • Support activities necessary to successfully undertake any FCA, Banking, ISAE, ISO or ICO reporting and standards reviews. 
  • Provide strong central oversight to deliver consistency and quality in compliance work across the IT organisation.

IT Security Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • Has a ‘passion’ for IT Security / Degree Educated / Min 3 years+ in a similar IT Security role

Senior Financial Accountant

This Senior Finance role is responsible for the management of the finance team and reporting to senior management.

Due to the size of the organisation, the multiple touch points within this role and the scale of responsibilities, the successful candidate must be highly skilled at multi-tasking, flexible, adaptable and have a 'can-do' and 'will-do' mentality. This role requires a high level of initiative and organization to function at expected levels of performance and to deliver set goals.

Duties will include:

  • Prepare timely and accurate month end reporting packs
  • Provide variance analysis, commentary and insight on financial results and present these results as required
  • Ensure Balance Sheet is maintained and all control accounts reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Ensure inter-company reconciliations are completed and reviewed at month end
  • Produce the monthly/bi-monthly PAYE/PRSI, VAT, CSO Returns for the business
  • Review all prepayments and accruals at month end
  • Posting of the monthly payroll journal and reconciliation of the payroll control accounts
  • Manage and review direct reports on a day-to-day basis through the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
  • Motivate and coach direct reports to achieve their performance objectives and where necessary actively manage any underperformance
  • Manage the annual audit requirements
  • Review the financial expenditure within the company and identify ways to reduce costs
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as they arise

The successful candidate will have:

  • Accounting Qualification desirable
  • 5+ years PQE desirable
  • Strong staff management experience
  • Card Payment Industry experience a distinct advantage
  • Broad based experience of Finance, operations and other control functions would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience in managing monthly forecasting processes and in monthly accruals processes

Product Owner  / Project Manager– Back Office Portal

PFS are now looking to appoint a Product Owner/Project Manager – back Office portal who will report to our CTO.

The Role:

This role will be involved with strategy, roadmap and defining features as well as the following responsibilities:

  • Working with various teams in the business to define the product roadmap
  • Full ownership and management of the product from inceptions, requirements gathering through to deployment
  • Working with a designer, you will project manage the development of a next generation Back Office Portal
  • Liaising with all workstream leaders understand their daily activities and processes, taking feedback of how the current system hinders them in their daily activities.
  • Liaising with Account Managers to tap into client feedback and complaints about our current MACP interface.
  • As well as catering for current functionality, improving it and making it more user friendly, you will be asked to add additional functionality to reflect the ever growing  suite of products PFS offer.
  • Introduce intuitive and useful dashboards
  • Working with developers and architects to ensure all necessary functions, tools, reports, interfaces are redeveloped on the new platform while redundant / unnecessary code is not.
  • Working with developers to ensure that the new platform employs new database and technical methodologies and techniques – Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ ,etc.
  • Ensuring that the new system meets PSD2 and MFA requirements.
  • Ensuring the system meets ISO 27001 requirements
  • Ensuring the system caters for accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss with the deployment of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1
  • Implementing Single Signon Functionality(Allowing 3rd parties log in seamlessly through their own interfaces)
  • Developing detailed BRDs which can be handed over to a team of developers to evaluate and draft technical specifications before development
  • Developing User stories and a test plan for the new system
  • Developing Training manuals for the platform to be used internally and externally at different levels

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar Product role

  • Experience with Automated Test Tools (Selenium, Ranorex, Cucumber etc.)

  • Network maintenance and troubleshooting issues
  • Assist others in the maintenance of systems
  • Research new tools and technologies and assist with the automation of deployments and monitoring tools

Qualifications / Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong experience in Windows and Linux server administration skills
  • Experience in at least one modern software language (Java, C# etc)
  • Strong SQL Server/MySQL/MongoDB skills
  • Excellent networking skills (firewalls, routing and switching)

Experience working against PCI-DSS requirement would be beneficial. Any payments experience would be beneficial.
