Key Responsibilities
Working as part of our Risk Management Team, as a Systems Risk expert.
Ensure the roll out of the new System ‘Trace’ is controlled and adheres to the highest control standards.
Ensure functionality used for mitigating risk is functional and effective.
Identify Risk within the systems infrastructure.
Liaising with various business partners to provide prompt and accurate responses to risks identified with in the EML suite of system.
Regularly making informed and prompt decisions on customer offering and behaviours to mitigate potential risk.
What you'll have
Our ideal candidate will have both
Risk Management qualification along with the relevant experience within the Financial Services sector preferably in Payments (SEPA, Faster Payments and Mastercard),
Experience as Risk Manager / Senior Business Analyst / System Implementation Project manager
Needs to understand Waterfall and agile delivery methods and to be familiar with SDLC.
Familiar modern development frameworks and IT Risk Management frameworks
Familiar with API architecture, microservices and middleware
Experienced in Change Management
Understanding of business-critical assets and recovery priorities including Scheme Connectivity and Resiliency between Data Centers
Experienced in Data Governance
Familiar with Controls framework (COSO / Basel2) and Reconciliation/Validity
Familiar with Cybersecurity / Cyber Risk
Familiar Testing and Verification of Functionality Enhancements

The Challenge
EML is currently seeking to recruit high performing tax specialist with financial services experience across several European jurisdictions. The objective is to oversee and enhance the direct and indirect tax compliance processes for EML’s subsidiaries and branch network domiciled in Ireland, UK, France, Spain.
What you will do
Monitor tax developments (Corporation tax, VAT, transfer pricing etc.) and manage the associated compliance and reporting obligations;
Maintain and update the firm’s Transfer Pricing Policy;
Overall responsibility for VAT compliance, reporting and submissions;
Preparation of annual corporation tax calculations for inclusion in statutory financial statements including preliminary tax payments;
Advice to the business on areas such as Payroll queries such as Benefit-in-kind, Capital Gains Tax etc as required.
Advise on business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, cross border expansion, financing, tax audits;
Collaborate with the local treasury team on flow of funds and repatriation planning;
Support the finance function with ad-hoc projects including statutory reporting, tax reviews, corporate structuring, treasury support etc.

ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant and Qualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA)
5 years PQE in financial services industry with strong knowledge of Irish tax laws and broad experience with European tax regulations

The Challenge

Work with developers to address issues and resolve within given SLA constraints
Assist with deployments and debugging of applications within the environment

Qualifications and Experience

The Challenge:
Due to continued commercial growth, we are recruiting an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Software Delivery team in Trim. Reporting to Head of Software Delivery and working closely with other Software Engineers and Team Leads this will be a highly developmental role, delivering world class fintech payment solutions to our internal and external clients.
The role will involve working closely with support teams, remote software development teams and quality assurance.
The Role:
Member of Software Development team in delivering high-profile payments applications to support PFS strategy and roadmap.
Ownership in developing assigned project tasks within agreed timelines with quality.
Working closely with Software Development team developing innovative solutions using the latest technologies.
Strong in software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, documentation.
Escalating to Software Team Lead or Head of IT Software Delivery in a timely manner to keep software development delivery on track.
Qualifications & Experience:
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent practical hands on experience.
4+ years in Software Development with hands-on experience in the following technologies:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
C#, .NET (preferably .NET Core)
SQL, particularly with writing Stored Procedures and Queries
Experience working with SOAP APIs
Experience working with and/or creating RESTful APIs
Source Control – e.g. Git, Subversion,
Experience with DevExpress, Telerik or other UI frameworks
Experience with Entity Framework
Good technical knowledge with a history of solving complex problems.
Experience working within an Agile environment using the Scrum Framework
Experience of day to day usage of Jira and Kanban or similar toolset.
A background in Financial Services is preferred in Payments or Prepaid Cards

The Challenge:
Due to continued commercial growth, we are recruiting a team of Production Support Engineers to join our expanding Software Delivery team in Europe.
The Production Support Engineer position requires a high energy, quick thinking individuals who has previously supported clients and stakeholders across several technical domains. You will provide regional and functional support ensuring optimal procedures and practices are being followed. Maintain the highest standards for timely and effective issue resolution and continuous improvement. This is a key role within the Business and requires someone that understands the needs of our Clients and their Customers to prioritise work accordingly.
The Role:
Manage the daily influx of IT Support related incidents across a number of applications in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Work with internal Software Delivery, DevOps, IT Support and Account Management to address issues and drive these to resolution within given SLA constraints.
Establish/implement Production Support productivity standards that ensure the delivery of best in class service to our customers.
Handle escalated issues to ensure they are resolved or worked to the customer’s satisfaction.
Review and report on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis statistics and trends.
Establish and maintain Production Support best practices.
Engage with senior technical personnel within Software Delivery team on critical problems arise and development resources are needed.
Support requests for various services including operational readiness of new system functionality being deployed.
Effectively use established monitoring and tracking tools to proactively submit support and/or maintenance related incidents on the customer’s behalf.
Support deployments Pre and Post Production as and when necessary.
You will initially be part of the Software Delivery Application team to get to know the applications.
Qualifications & Experience:
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or demonstrated previous Production Support experience.
A Team player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to get your ideas across effectively.
Good technical knowledge with a history of investigating and solving complex problems in a production support or software development environment.
Demonstrate an ability to pick up old and new technologies quickly.
Experience working within an Agile environment using the Scrum Framework

The Challenge:
The QA Automation Engineer will join a vibrant and dynamic QA team who verify and release award winning prepaid payment and e-money software solutions on a weekly basis. You will work directly with Developers, the Project Management team and the Account Management team to deliver coded automated UI, API and mobile tests following an agile approach. You will bring to the QA team your solid experience of testing commercial software to high quality standards and your passion for test automation.
You will work on maintaining, updating and improving the existing test framework and automated suites or with building out a new test framework from scratch, if fit for purpose. He/she will help train other QA team members in the development of the framework and in the creation and execution of automated front end and API test cases.
You will also investigate all automation test execution failures, log bugs in Jira where appropriate and integrate the automation test suite/framework with EML’s test case management tool. Goal is to minimise manual testing as much as possible and turn around software releases quickly and efficiently.
The Role:
Take test ownership of any automation tasks that are assigned to you by Test Manager
Help design, create and/or maintain automated test frameworks for front end and API/Service level testing
Coordinate with Development teams to understand software build deployments and version/source control
Automate new feature test cases and automate priority regression test cases for each release
Analyse test results of daily automation test runs, investigate failures and raise detailed issues in Jira with Development teams
Research, investigate and put forward suggestions on ways to improve automation testing and tooling.
Contribute to overall test team meetings and make proactive suggestions for process improvement initiatives and efficiencies for future testing.
Participate in regular test planning meetings and provide estimates and inputs for automation test efforts
Become a mentor and train the QA team in the utilisation of automation tooling and frameworks
Provide weekly reports on automation testing efficiencies and progression
Qualifications & Experience:
Solid experience with automation functional testing frameworks/tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, SpecFlow, Protractor, Serenity, Cucumber etc.
Primary or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline preferred
Familiar with modern toolchains; Git and GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, SVN, Docker
Experience integrating Test Case Management Tools with Automation tools for test case reporting/execution purposes
ISTQB foundation certified or certified in a recognised Testing certification
Experience working with Jira

Due to continued commercial growth, we are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join our team, based in either London or Trim, Co. Meath. Reporting to Head of Project Delivery and working closely with CTO and Product Management this will be a highly developmental role, delivering world class fintech payment solutions to our clients.
The role will involve working closely with all departments, support teams, remote software development teams, quality assurance and vendor partners within varied and demanding projects.
Role & Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for delivery of a specific project with the company.
Manage all stakeholder relationships including clients, 3rd party vendors and internal teams as appropriate.
Implement, manage and take responsibility for 'best in class' project governance methodologies, standards, documentation and practises.
Actively manage and remove all risks and interdependencies to ensure the smooth running of all work streams.
Preparing and maintaining project plans, project milestones, and project documentation to a high standard.
Working closely with internal software development teams and external partners to ensure resource planning and assignment are in place to achieve delivery.
Working closely with internal software development teams and external partners to ensure all assigned tasks are on track to achieve delivery.
Identifying and managing all related project risks, issues and dependencies.
Providing timely and effective status reporting to all internal and external stakeholders.
Escalating to Senior stakeholders in a timely manner to keep projects on track.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience of working and collaborating with disparate global/virtual teams
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Project Manager or similar technical role in a fintech/banking environment.
Certification and practical experience in at least one Project Management methodologies is preferred.
You have experience of managing projects in both a waterfall and agile environment is preferred.
You have experience of taking ownership in delivery of projects on time and within budget.
You have experience of managing project risks, issues and dependencies and comfortable with timely escalation to senior management to keep projects on track.
Ability to communicate professionally and confidence to wide audience of stakeholders, peers and teams in multiple locations.
A background in financial services is preferred, specifically the areas of Payments or Prepaid Cards, but not required.
