Position Title: Senior Compliance Manager (PFS)

 

Reports to: Director, Risk & Compliance (PFS)

What we are looking for

This is a unique opportunity and exciting time to join an award-winning Global Fintech. We have embarked on an implementation of a next generation payments platform. We are committed to maintaining a high level of risk & compliance management and oversight throughout the company. We now seek to strengthen the management team by hiring a talented and passionate individual as a Senior Compliance Manager.

The Senior Compliance Manager will support leadership to ensure the PFS Compliance Framework is driven across the business both internally and externally. The Senior Compliance Manager will organise, coordinate and perform adequate controls in order to identify, evaluate and monitor compliance risks. The Senior Compliance Manager will also make recommendations on the actions required to mitigate current and potential compliance risks and monitor the implementation of the measures taken.

The Senior Compliance Manager will be expected to recruit, hire, and develop assigned staff to ensure PFS meets our regulatory Compliance requirements.

The Senior Compliance Manager will be the PCF15 and MLRO for the firm. The firm is willing to support suitable candidates through the application process with the Central Bank of Ireland and offer the role upon successful completion.

Duties

  • Identify and lead all relevant regulatory obligations applicable to E-Money and Mastercard Scheme rules including Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) and any Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) as well the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements.
  • Development and implement a Compliance Program that addresses the business’ ongoing regulatory obligations , including privacy, anti-bribery / anti-corruption, know your customer (KYC), sanctions, anti-money laundering (AML), third party oversight, etc.
  • Assist in the execution and ongoing improvement of all operational aspects of the compliance program including policy/procedure governance, training, risk assessments, monitoring, periodic testing, and investigations.
  • Engage with the company and other control functions within the business as required on an ongoing basis
  • Support the Head or Risk of Compliance and where required act as a regulatory liaison in respect of any regulatory communications, inquiries, visits or inspections, for example from the CBI, FCA or Mastercard.
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop processes and product solutions that address regulatory requirements
  • Help Expand and manage the internal Business Governance Framework
  • Produce comprehensive management reports for the board of directors and senior management of the business quarterly or as required
  • Oversee the implementation and operation of appropriate AML, anti-fraud, and KYC policies and procedures, maintaining up to date documentation, monitoring, and reporting any suspicious transactions

 

What you'll bring

  • You have expertise detecting and mitigating compliance risks

  • Education: CAMS or ACOI qualification advantageous

  • You possess 8+ years of compliance and/or regulatory legal experience, including experience working in or advising regulated entities

  • You have a proven history of dealing with the CBI, FCA, EPC and or other payments regulatory authorities

  • Expertise in managing broad compliance and risk workflows including KYC, AML, anti-fraud, anti-bribery, privacy, third party oversight, sanctions, SARs, regulatory limits and PEPs & Sanctions screening

  • You have experience in Compliance monitoring / Quality assurance

  • You possess good judgment and executive presence and have experience and enjoy clearly articulating risk, and strategies to mitigate risk, to key partners, executives, boards and regulators

  • You possess a deep understanding of the CBI Guidance on Fitness and Probity Standards and Minimum Competency Regulations

  • You can explain complex regulatory features in an easy to understand manner to stakeholders without such background

The Challenge

We're looking for a Senior API Integration Manager in Ireland or the UK to develop & lead the vision for our customer facing API offering. You will be expected to drive our API & Integrations strategy from concept to production by deeply understanding our product, signal opportunities & user workflow needs. You will work closely with Internal teams UX, IT, Project Delivery, Marketing & Sales to launch best-in-class experiences to ensure our users can achieve enterprise wide deployment using our Core API offerings. Position Title: IT Specialist

Reports to: IT Administrator

Location: Scurlockstown Business Park, Trim Co. Meath. Required to work in Trim office with regular visits to Bray office or locations including data centres as determined by the needs of the group.

Under the supervision of the IT Admin, the IT Specialist is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware & software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that systems hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures are operated and maintained to meet organizational goals.

 

The Challenge

  • Assume secondary responsibility for all operational considerations on-site including availability, continuity, disaster recovery, infrastructure, user support, and documentation.

  • Ensure availability and continuity of all systems, including server, client, network, LAN/WAN, edge, firewall, email, file-sharing, communication, video, security, and automation systems.

  • Execute and document preventative maintenance tasks on all server systems on a weekly schedule and as needed to meet operational requirements.

  • Monitor and document availability of all server systems and external service providers by direct observation, remote connection, and through alerting systems and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.

  • Troubleshoot operational issues rapidly and analyse and resolve underlying issues to restore production systems and maintain continuity of business.

  • Implement wiring and patch panel management as required to support installations and modifications of developing and production network systems.

  • Manage the setup, installation, configuration, backup, and operation of both new and existing client-based computer operating systems in a multi-country domain environment including fixed and mobile devices.

  • Install, configure, and test hardware and software components of all systems and computer-related equipment.

  • Install and remove equipment including servers, switches, UPS, rack-mounted hardware, security equipment, communications equipment, presentation equipment, and workstations.

  • Manage, test, execute, and document backup and disaster recovery procedures and functions on an ongoing basis.

  • Maintain inventory and accountability for stock and replacement parts.

  • Respond to user requests by phone, email, or other means and provide technical support for hardware and software issues until resolved.

  • Support interaction with vendors, service providers, and off-site hosted applications to resolve issues and ensure uptime.

  • Administer user system access including account creation and maintenance, rights management, access control, and permissions.

  • Administer and co-ordinate support with hosted & self-managed data centre providers in the UK & Ireland, occasionally requiring visits to same.

  • Create, update, and maintain internal documentation, manuals, and IT policies and procedures.

  • For offsite Data Centres; create, update, and maintain internal documentation, manuals, and IT policies and procedures.

What you'll do

  • Assist other Group IT staff as required remotely and in other locations/countries.

  • Participate in research and development projects on new hardware or application projects.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with all requirements and regulations.

What you’ll have

  • Knowledge of computer and network operations equivalent to completion of a degree course and three to five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge and experience in administering Windows Server operating systems, virtualization (Hyper-V preferred).

  • Knowledge and experience in administering Windows Desktop operating systems in a domain environment, group policy, and Active Directory.

  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office365, domain names, DNS.

  • Knowledge of data system networking and protocols, principles of LAN/WAN operation, principles of firewall operation, IPSec VPNs, client VPNs and experience in managing network components.

  • Knowledge of computer, network, and telephone hardware and software systems.

  • Knowledge of and ability to use simple tools as well as electronic test and diagnostic equipment necessary for routine troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hardware and infrastructure.

  • Ability to troubleshoot quickly to determine networking or software configuration problems.

Reporting to Head of Software Delivery and working closely with other Software Engineers and Team Leads this will be a highly developmental role, delivering world class fintech payment solutions to our internal and external clients.

  • Member of Software Development team in delivering high-profile payments applications to support PFS strategy and roadmap.
  • Ownership in developing assigned project tasks within agreed timelines with quality.

  • Working closely with Software Development team developing innovative solutions using the latest technologies.

  • Strong in software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, documentation.

  • Escalating to Software Team Lead or Head of IT Software Delivery in a timely manner to keep software development delivery on track.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent practical hands on experience.

  • 4+ years in Software Development with hands-on experience in the following technologies:

    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery

    • C#, .NET (preferably .NET Core)

    • SQL, particularly with writing Stored Procedures and Queries

  • Experience working with SOAP APIs

    • Experience working with and/or creating RESTful APIs

    • Source Control – e.g. Git, Subversion,

  • Experience with DevExpress, Telerik or other UI frameworks

  • Experience with Entity Framework

  • Good technical knowledge with a history of solving complex problems.

The Challenge:

Due to continued commercial growth, we are recruiting a team of Production Support Engineers to join our expanding Software Delivery team in Europe.  

The Production Support Engineer position requires a high energy, quick thinking individuals who has previously supported clients and stakeholders across several technical domains.   You will provide regional and functional support ensuring optimal procedures and practices are being followed.  Maintain the highest standards for timely and effective issue resolution and continuous improvement. This is a key role within the Business and requires someone that understands the needs of our Clients and their Customers to prioritise work accordingly.               

 

The Role:

  • Manage the daily influx of IT Support related incidents across a number of applications in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA).

  • Work with internal Software Delivery, DevOps, IT Support and Account Management to address issues and drive these to resolution within given SLA constraints.

  • Establish/implement Production Support productivity standards that ensure the delivery of best in class service to our customers.

  • Handle escalated issues to ensure they are resolved or worked to the customer’s satisfaction.  

  • Review and report on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis statistics and trends.

  • Establish and maintain Production Support best practices.

  • Engage with senior technical personnel within Software Delivery team on critical problems arise and development resources are needed.

  • Support requests for various services including operational readiness of new system functionality being deployed.

  • Effectively use established monitoring and tracking tools to proactively submit support and/or maintenance related incidents on the customer’s behalf.

  • Support deployments Pre and Post Production as and when necessary.

  • You will initially be part of the Software Delivery Application team to get to know the applications.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or demonstrated previous Production Support experience.

  • A Team player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to get your ideas across effectively.

  • Good technical knowledge with a history of investigating and solving complex problems in a production support or software development environment.

  • Demonstrate an ability to pick up old and new technologies quickly.

  • Experience working within an Agile environment using the Scrum Framework

  • Experience of day to day usage of Jira and Kanban or similar toolset.

  • A background in Financial Services is preferred within Payments or Prepaid Cards.

The Challenge:

The QA Automation Engineer will join a vibrant and dynamic QA team who verify and release award winning prepaid payment and e-money software solutions on a weekly basis. You will work directly with Developers, the Project Management team and the Account Management team to deliver coded automated UI, API and mobile tests following an agile approach. You will bring to the QA team your solid experience of testing commercial software to high quality standards and your passion for test automation.

 You will work on maintaining, updating and improving the existing test framework and automated suites or with building out a new test framework from scratch, if fit for purpose. He/she will help train other QA team members in the development of the framework and in the creation and execution of automated front end and API test cases.

 You will also investigate all automation test execution failures, log bugs in Jira where appropriate and integrate the automation test suite/framework with EML’s test case management tool.  Goal is to minimise manual testing as much as possible and turn around software releases quickly and efficiently.      

 

The Role:

  • Take test ownership of any automation tasks that are assigned to you by Test Manager

  • Help design, create and/or maintain automated test frameworks for front end and API/Service level testing

  • Coordinate with Development teams to understand software build deployments and version/source control

  • Automate new feature test cases and automate priority regression test cases for each release

  • Analyse test results of daily automation test runs, investigate failures and raise detailed issues in Jira with Development teams

  • Research, investigate and put forward suggestions on ways to improve automation testing and tooling.

  • Contribute to overall test team meetings and make proactive suggestions for process improvement initiatives and efficiencies for future testing.

  • Participate in regular test planning meetings and provide estimates and inputs for automation test efforts

  • Become a mentor and train the QA team in the utilisation of automation tooling and frameworks

  • Provide weekly reports on automation testing efficiencies and progression

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Solid experience with automation functional testing frameworks/tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, SpecFlow, Protractor, Serenity, Cucumber etc.

  • Primary or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline preferred

  • Familiar with modern toolchains; Git and GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, SVN, Docker

  • Experience integrating Test Case Management Tools with Automation tools for test case reporting/execution purposes

  • ISTQB foundation certified or certified in a recognised Testing certification

  • Experience working with Jira

The Challenge:

Due to continued commercial growth, we are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join our team, based in either London or Trim, Co. Meath.  Reporting to Head of Project Delivery and working closely with CTO and Product Management this will be a highly developmental role, delivering world class fintech payment solutions to our clients.

The role will involve working closely with all departments, support teams, remote software development teams, quality assurance and vendor partners within varied and demanding projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for delivery of a specific project with the company.  

  • Manage all stakeholder relationships including clients, 3rd party vendors and internal teams as appropriate.  

  • Implement, manage and take responsibility for 'best in class' project governance methodologies, standards, documentation and practises.

  • Actively manage and remove all risks and interdependencies to ensure the smooth running of all work streams. 

  • Preparing and maintaining project plans, project milestones, and project documentation to a high standard.

  • Working closely with internal software development teams and external partners to ensure resource planning and assignment are in place to achieve delivery.

  • Working closely with internal software development teams and external partners to ensure all assigned tasks are on track to achieve delivery.

  • Identifying and managing all related project risks, issues and dependencies.

  • Providing timely and effective status reporting to all internal and external stakeholders.

  • Escalating to Senior stakeholders in a timely manner to keep projects on track.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience of working and collaborating with disparate global/virtual teams

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Project Manager or similar technical role in a fintech/banking environment.

  • Certification and practical experience in at least one Project Management methodologies is preferred.

  • You have experience of managing projects in both a waterfall and agile environment is preferred.

  • You have experience of taking ownership in delivery of projects on time and within budget.

  • You have experience of managing project risks, issues and dependencies and comfortable with timely escalation to senior management to keep projects on track.

  • Ability to communicate professionally and confidence to wide audience of stakeholders, peers and teams in multiple locations.

  • A background in financial services is preferred, specifically the areas of Payments or Prepaid Cards, but not required.
