Technical Project Manager – (Processing Platform)

The Role: This is a unique opportunity to join an award-winning Global Fintech and their implementation of a next generation payments platform. This position will involve a key role of Payments Subject Matter Expert, responsible for ensuring that product designs and product software correctly define and meet the technical requirements of the payments industry.

This position will report directly into the CTO, taking responsibility initially for getting the platform live and to market. This is an opportunity to come in at the initial phases of a key strategic project for the business, working alongside a talented team of engineers in a supportive and collaborative environment. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are a must, as the initial role will be engaging internal teams and external providers to take the system to full end to end delivery.

Reconciliation Analyst  (Maternity Leave Contract)

We have an opening for a Reconciliation Analyst to join our Reconciliation team in our Navan office, County Meath. This is a Maternity Leave Contract.

The Reconciliation Team is responsible for monitoring the flow of funds within the client ledger to protect both the cardholders and the company.

The successful candidate will have excellent reconciliation and analytical skills and be highly proficient in Excel with knowledge of pivot tables, vlookups and other formulas. Attention to detail, accuracy and good organisation / time management skills are essential to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts vs internal systems. Liaising with internal teams for resolution of discrepancies.
  • Daily Reconciliation of external loading channels vs internal systems.
  • Daily Settlement payments to Mastercard, reconciliation of settlement accounts, monitoring of cashflow and communications to Mastercard.
  • Daily Reconciliation of internal client funded accounts(wallets) vs loading to cards.
  • Partake in daily master reconciliation to ensure client funds are always safeguarded

Skills Required:

  • Must have previous reconciliation experience.
  • Must be extremely proficient in Excel.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Good working knowledge of SEPA, BACS, Faster payments schemes.
  • Previous experience within a multi-currency environment.

The Role: As a Business Analyst you will be part of the Development/Business team. The successful candidate should be committed to delivering cutting-edge high-quality projects in a dynamic environment. You must be self-driven, able to work in teams and on your own supervision, possessing great attention to detail.

Reporting to the CTO, the BA will assist and support the business owners and clients in driving development tasks. They will be expected to produce high quality documents detailing business requirements. They will enable a remote development team to develop the business needs and support the QA team to test efficiently.

The Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with internal and external teams, face to face and remotely to gather detailed business requirements. The candidate will be expected to establish the current state (current product, service or process), understand the need for change/improvement and define the desired detailed outcome.
  • Identifying key stakeholders, be able to extract key information through numerous communication methods. Developing detailed business requirements documents for an ever-evolving middleware system, delivering in a timely manner in line with expectations and priorities of the stakeholders and the business.
  • Understanding regulatory requirements and translate those into business requirements working closely with Risk/Compliance departments.
  • Liaising with Business / Product Owners, clients and any other stakeholder to adopt the proposals in the business requirements document and sign off.
  • Liaising with development teams to ensure their full understanding of all requirements.
  • Support the development team in clarifying any requirements through mediation and analysis with the business owners.
  • Provide clear updates and be comfortable reporting into stakeholders and management. Raising concerns with management and stakeholders where necessary.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • A Team player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to get your ideas across effectively.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Tools for creating business requirement documents, mostly for visual representation of processes and information flow
  • Willingness to learn and be challenged in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally, at least 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in the payments industry
  • Relevant primary degree and/or relevant professional qualification

  • A knowledge of the Prepaid Industry is not essential but a definite advantage.
  • Proven working experience as Senior Operations Manager within the Payments industry desirable.

Testing/QA Specialists

We are looking for dynamic, skilful and enthusiastic people to join our Testing/QA &Software Development team. The ideal candidates will be dependable team-players who will own and drive the Testing process for our cutting-edge technology products. You will be able to understand Functional and Technical specifications and translate these into Test Scenarios, Cases and Scripts.

The Role:

  • This role involves the testing of functionality, which is delivered through a combination of applications and services.
  • The successful candidate will own the test pack and associated documents and be expected to continually refine and improve it to make it as efficient as possible.
  • Contributing to all aspects of the QA process for new and existing functionality, through a mix of automated and manual testing.
  • Support the development team in identifying and documenting issues, as well as to identify test requirements.
  • Execute test cases and provide clear results and metrics to the Project Manager/Lead Architect. Raise bug reports where necessary.
  • Manage the Test and Staging environments and associated Test Data.
  • Work to accurately evaluate risk and provide estimates for tasks.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • A relevant Third level degree in IT or equivalent Testing Qualification (ISEB, ISQTB)
  • Proven professional experience as a Tester/QA Analyst or equivalent experience in a Technical Support Environment.
  • Experience with Automated Test Tools (Selenium, Ranorex, Cucumber etc.)
  • A Team player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), particularly the ability to get your ideas across effectively.
  • Strong SQL knowledge.
  • Technically proficient, familiar with the major development platforms and languages (C#, Java etc.) and RESTful webservices.
  • Experience with Jira would be beneficial.
  • Experience working within the whole software development lifecycle.
  • Willingness to learn and be challenged in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of financial services, banking and payment transactions processing would be beneficial but not a pre-requisite.

Experience working within PCI-DSS requirements would be beneficial.

The Role:

  • Develop cutting edge web and mobile applications for use by our Customers and Internal users
  • Produce clean and maintainable code using C#, ASP.Net and Xamarin
  • Create and Update SQL Server Tables, Queries and Stored Procedures
  • Work with the Innovation Manager and Architect to plan new features and applications
  • Work within and enhance our software development expectations, processes, and quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Work to accurately evaluate risk and estimate software development tasks
  • Strive to continually improve technical and development skills

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Development experience working with ASP.Net, C#, Web API/Web Services and MVC. Experience configuring and working with IIS and Windows Server would be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience using jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular or other JS frameworks.
  • Strong SQL Server skills including database design and Stored Procedures.
  • Experience with Message Queues would be beneficial

Financial Controller

Reporting to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller, will manage the Group’s finance function and be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts, VAT returns and regulatory reporting.

Duties

  • Oversee the operations of the Finance teams based across the group’s two sites in the UK and Ireland.
  • Manage the accounts payable function ensuring suppliers are paid in line with contractual requirements
  • Manage the accounts receivable function ensuring invoices are raised and collected promptly.
  • Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are accurate and complete.
  • Ensure stock is controlled and accounted for accurately.
  • Ensure the general ledger of company is accurate and up to date.
  • Establish and manage a fast close for the group to deliver timely management reporting.
  • Maintain the group chart of accounts and administer the group ERP system.
  • Administer the group treasury function.

Reporting

  • Lead the team in the preparation of the monthly financial reporting pack.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the annual statutory reporting.
  • Manage the annual audits.
  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
  • Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.
  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
  • Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

Compliance

  • Prepare and submit VAT and other tax returns in each jurisdiction.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory returns, as required.

The Person

  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA); with at least three years post qualification experience
  • Minimum four years’ experience in a fast-paced busy environment;
  • High-level of IT literacy, strong Excel skills,
  • Prior exposure to Sun ERP advantageous.
  • A can-do positive attitude, highly motivated with good problem-solving skills.
  • Good attention to detail while seeing the big picture

The Role:

  • Manage and monitor the operation of a brand-new cutting-edge Integration with a major payments infrastructure
  • Manage accurate operations of key infrastructure and help to drive improvements to ensure scalability and high availability
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to design and implement new features
  • Network maintenance and troubleshooting issues
  • Assist others in the maintenance of systems

Qualifications / Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong experience in Windows and Linux server administration skills
  • Experience in at least one modern software language (Java, C# etc)
  • Strong SQL Server/MySQL/MongoDB skills
  • Excellent networking skills (firewalls, routing and switching)
